Hello – hope everyone is well.

Clients have continued to return to centres and although many restrictions have been removed we have continued to gradually relax those relating to Volunteers (mainly due to distancing restrictions/limitations in some classrooms).

The centres have been really busy, and clients have been producing some amazing work.

Newark Flower Pod

It is all go at Newark with preparations for the installation of a new classroom well under way (electricity and water connections in place !) The fruit and vegetables continue to grow and have been harvested for cooking.

Reach Southwell

Clients have been out on their first trip to Nottingham (obviously Sir Revie’s statue was unavailable !), and the Chapter House at Southwell Minster to hear stories from the Leaves of Southwell Minster Project.

Reach Newark

Everyone has had a great time  at the art, cooking, computing, sports and fitness and singing classes.

Reach Mansfield

Clients have produced some amazing work, making fans, cooking, art, computers and bowling !

Flower Pod Southwell

The weather has made the plants and flower thrive, clients and volunteers have done a great job cutting, flower arranging and having fun.

Halam Fete

One of our amazing volunteers (thanks Chris) has a stall raising money for Reach at Halam Fete this Sunday from 1pm, so if you are going please stop and say hello (20) Halam Tempting Fete | Facebook

Ellis Whittam Training

All volunteers have been allocated a training account with Ellis Whittam which means that mandatory training such as safeguarding can now be done online. If you haven’t got an account or would like one set up please let me know and we can arrange for it be done. Thank you to everyone who has already done their online safeguarding training.

We are now introducing volunteers to all sites, so if you would like to return to volunteering or know someone who would be interested in volunteering at Reach please let me know.

Take care everyone and once again thank you for all your support, we couldn’t offer the service we do without your help.

All the Best

Wayne
