India running the London Marathon for Reach

India running the London Marathon for Reach

We are delighted to share that India will be running the London Marathon this April to raise vital funds for Reach. Taking on 26.2 miles is an extraordinary challenge, and India’s commitment reflects her deep belief in the importance of the support we provide to adults with learning disabilities in Nottinghamshire.

Why India Chose to Run for Reach

India explained what motivated her to take on this challenge:

“I am running for Reach because the work the charity does is essential in helping adults get the support they need to live full and more independent lives. Having access to the right support can make a huge difference to someone’s confidence, opportunities, and overall quality of life. Seeing the work Reach does first-hand has inspired me and strengthened my want to get involved. As a Nottingham-based charity, Reach is especially meaningful to me, as I would love the opportunity to give back to the community I grew up in.”

Her words highlight the real impact that tailored support can have – not only in building confidence and independence, but in strengthening community connections.

India is now deep into her training, preparing for one of the world’s most iconic races. We are incredibly grateful for her dedication and proud to have her representing Reach on the marathon course.
