This December, we’re aiming to raise £25,000 to tackle loneliness through our Big Give Christmas Challenge. The Big Give is the UK’s biggest online match funding campaign, so every online donation made to Reach during Christmas Challenge week will be doubled!
People with learning disabilities can feel lonely and isolated, with many struggling to make friends and social connections outside of their family or carers. Our appeal, Not Lonely this Christmas, will raise funds to help us support clients to make new friends and get involved with community life.
We’re asking people to Save the Date to support our campaign! You can double your donation online from midday on 28th November until midday on 5th December by visiting our project page on the Big Give website at https://secure.thebiggive.org.uk/project/notlonely.
We’ll also be holding a number of open-house events at Southwell, Newark and Mansfield during Christmas Challenge week where people can pop into our centres and find out more about what we do. Visit our Events page for dates and times.
