The 3rd annual Mansfield 10K looks set to be bigger and better than ever!
The addition of a new 5K route, plus the option to run the distance virtually means that entrant numbers have already exceeded last year’s. We’re hoping that by the time entry to the event closes, between 900 and 1,000 runners will have signed up to take part.
The event, which takes place on the morning of Sunday 17th September, will see hundreds of competitors of all abilities take to the traffic free roads around Mansfield town centre. Keen runners who are not able to get to Mansfield can join in the fun via the Virtual Runner website. Simply register online at www.virtualrunneruk.com and complete your 5K or 10K run or walk between the 17th and 30th September to receive your medal.
The Mansfield 10K is not only a fantastic event that brings the community together, it also raises much-needed funds to help us continue our work supporting people with learning disabilities in Nottinghamshire. The event is nearly full, but there is still time to book your place by visiting www.mansfield10k.co.uk.
