Wayne is our Volunteer Manager and his role is focused on promoting and progressing volunteering opportunities across Reach. Like many, Wayne's job was a little different for a while during 2020 when he was able to support our crisis response by delivering wellbeing and activity packs to clients and family carers. Thankfully we took delivery of our new Reach red van, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund shortly before the coronavirus crisis forced us to temporarily close our centres in March 2020. Now Wayne, our man with a Reach red van posts regularly on here to share what he's been up to and how he's keeping in touch with our wonderful volunteers. We're very grateful to the National Lottery Community Fund and Nottinghamshire County Council's Local Improvement Scheme for their flexible approach which enabled us to respond quickly to our clients' needs during 2020.
